Originating in her project Heute
Nachmittag: Als wir noch an was glaubten, which deals with the politicization
of artists and poets before, during and after the Bavarian Soviet republic,
the artist has collected aspects and events that are directly related to
other protest movements and display parallels to the present. An archival
and fragmentary installation that serves both as a workshop and archive,
it will become a platform for various events and activities from October
to December. In the accompanying program guests who are engaged in the topic
alternative life forms are being invited to present their work, to contribute
projects and materials to the installation and to realize collaborative projects
during the exhibition period.

Ein Gespräch mit der Wohnprojektgruppe „el
caracol“ aus München über ihre Herangehensweise in Sachen
Selbstorganisation, Freiräume schaffen, Stimmrecht, Privatisierung
und Verhandlungen mit Vermietern und der Stadt. Sie arbeiten innerhalb
des deutschlandweiten Mietshäuser Syndikat und in Kooperation mit
anderen unabhängigen Wohnprojekten in München wie Stattpark Olga,
Aktionsgruppe Untergiesing oder Ligsalz 8.

with special guest: MARIA GUGGENBICHLER
"When the great lord passes the wise peasant bows deeply and silently farts"
Maria Guggenbichler talks about deviant “world making”, unsuccessful,
inconspicuous or secretly succesful forms of protest of “others, those
who are negated, who start with negation, who can only take action by saying
no” (Sara Ahmed).
Maria Guggenbichler (*1971) is an artist and lives in Amsterdam. She likes
working with other people.
